I guess that just about says it all. It was long week and then before you know it another one begins.
Monday - Well, besides Caleb's guitar practice it was pretty low key.
Tuesday - We went to the Liberty Science Center for a field trip day and it was really cool. At one point we were "testing" the Curtain Wall for Skyscrapers and hurricane force winds and rain were being blown at us. It was a simulator to test how buildings would hold up in case on a hurricane. The 100 mph winds and rain were pretty intense we were covered head to toe with ponchos and goggles.
Wednesday and Thursday - The boys worked really hard and I'm proud of both of them.
Friday - Caleb starts out on Monday with a practice (guitar) and ends the week with a practice (basketball).
Saturday - Caleb's game day. He had a make-up game on Thursday, and after each game the guys are awarded stars for their jerseys.....Thursday he got the "Chirst-likeness" star and yesterday received the "Best Sportsmanship" star. He was really pleased and so were we.
Hopefully Cameron will take an interest in SOMETHING besides his Nintendo DS Lite!!!!
And for today......I had nursery for the first time in a million years! :o) It was nice being with the little ones for day. And a day is ALL I needed. Now off to youth, which is kind of like the nursery sometimes.......
I want to add a couple of recipes I tested this week, but it will have to wait. Hopefully, I'll get back on here before next weekend......here's hoping!
