Tomorrow we are off to the Pumpkin Patch to pick the perfect "Monyhan Pumpkin". Before homeschooling was introduced into our lives, we'd just pick one up at the supermarket. This way is a fun way!! :o) I'm just hoping the rains holds off.....there's nothing worse than trudging through the mud and tracking it into my car!!!
But this will be the only day to go (as a family). Matt's off tomorrow, and Halloween is Friday! We're cutting it pretty close. Yes, we celebrate Halloween. And I'm not even gonna jump on that debate. Fine if you do, fine if you don't.
The boys are reading more than ever this year. Books that they actually pick out. I still have to say, "Time to find a quiet place to read." But at least they're doing it without complaining! I'd love for them to one day say, "I can't come right now Mom, I'm to the best part of this book!" Oh, well....maybe someday! :o)
