Yesterday I celebrated my 17th anniversary with my loving husband, Matt. Seventeen years ago at the age of 19, I married the love of my life! For us, it was the perfect time and the perfect age.
I am incredibly blessed. I am abundantly blessed. Words really can't describe how much God has blessed me. And saying thank you to Him is not sufficient.
Matt always makes time for his family...even when he's needed by other families. I don't know how he does it. He's crazy about me, and I'm crazy about him... After 17 years, I still can't wait for him to walk through the door each day!
He's an amazing husband... And best of all, he's teaching our boys how to be a great husband! I know the boys don't get it now. They just act grossed out when they see us holding hands or kissing. But we learn by what we see. And Matt is a super role model for our sons.
"Lord, I pray that you would protect our marriage. Continue to strengthen our relationship, our friendship. I pray that we stay committed to You, and in turn... we will stay committed to each other. Help us keep You first."
