This week my family and I have been "planting seeds"... also known as -handing out postcards to the community of Lagrange, inviting them to our church on Sunday. This weekend we will celebrate our 2nd birthday of being a church. We're having a cookout including a birthday cake!
"Happy 2nd Birthday, Four Hills Church!"
This church is like a third child of mine. I love it. I care for it. I want it to look good. I want it to be healthy. I want it to grow. I take great offense if something is said about it. I worry about it. I only want the best for it... Do I sound like a mom?
It's actually been almost 3 years since we made the leap into church planting... I've never been so busy, but so abundantly blessed! Our church is still a baby. And I know from experience, that babies grow right before our eyes and one day we'll wonder where the time went.
Galatians 6:9 has been on my mind lately - "So let us not become tired of doing good; for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest."
This verse make me smile.
I will not give up.
We're still here...
