A Few of My Favorite Things

Last week, Caleb had a sleepover.  And I love any excuse to get into the kitchen and make yummy snacks!  This is what I call a "No Recipe Recipe"...  It's not like I'm really baking, it's more like assembling.  I've been making these for several years... I love sweet and salty together.  It's a perfect match!

Here are the "ingredients":  Pretzels, Rolos, and Pecans

*Preheat oven to 250 degrees*  Take a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and line up the pretzels.  Next, take a Rolo and place on top of the pretzel.  Then, place a pecan on top of the Rolo... Place baking sheet in the oven for 5 minutes...and just 5 minutes.  Set your timer, don't walk away.  We're just looking to soften the Rolo...not make a melted mess.

As soon as you remove them from the oven, push gently down on the pecan.  Don't push all the way down.  Make sure you can still see the pretzel.  Let sit in a cool place to allow the chocolate to harden back up.  I placed the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes.  Then you can just pop them off the baking sheet and place them on a serving tray.

Enjoy...I know the boys loved them!  These are so cute and very tasty.  I'm not sure who thought this up, but I'm sure glad they did!
