Cameron
Today is about Cameron.
Cameron was going to be Cameron whether he was a boy or girl... Cameron Bryce for a boy. Camryn Riley for a girl. One of the reasons we did this, was so that Caleb could start calling the baby Cameron/Camryn from the beginning.
Cameron was such a good baby. A good sleeper. A good eater. (NOTHING like Caleb.) I always said that Caleb was my test on being a good mom and I guessed I passed. God must of decided to give me an easy one the second time around.
Cameron has brown hair, blue eyes, and asperger's.
Did you catch that? Many people believe that Asperger's is a disease that needs a cure... We believe it's part of who Cameron is. Now, I'm not saying that he learns the same way as his big brother, or that there aren't some difficulties to overcome... But this dude that's sitting beside me right now would not be my Cameron without his brown hair, blue eyes, and asperger's.
He's studying his spelling words right now, which I'm sure he'll get 100% on. (He has an excellent memory, one of the defining traits of an aspie.)
This boy is funny. He has been funny from the start. At 13, he still makes me laugh everyday.
Here are some "Cameron Says" that was posted by my husband about a year ago:

Sometimes when Cameron says something funny or asks me a weird question, I immediately text it to Matt. One - so that he can see it, but more importantly...so I won't forget it.
I often wonder what God has planned for Cameron... At one point he was moving to Japan. I'm sure it had something to do with Nintendo. One time I asked him where he wanted to go to college and he said, "I'm going to homecollege... you know, like homeschool."
I know God has His hands on both my boys... I've been praying for them even before they were born.
I know my job as mom is to love them, teach, nurture, discipline, and model a godly life. That's a big job description! And I'm not perfect...but I'm learning. I don't think there ever comes a point where a mom says, "Well, I'm done being a mom."
And I'm sure Cameron will continue to teach me a thing or two!
In case you were wondering, I stopped during this blog to give Cameron his spelling test... 100%!!
